Aaron Jacklin - Christa Maitland

Aaron Jacklin is an Ontario-based writer. He majored in criminal justice and public policy at the University of Guelph, studied journalism at Humber College, and is currently an MA candidate in criminology and criminal justice policy at the University of Guelph. He wrote for and then edited his university newspaper, The Ontarion. While at Humber, he covered the crime beat in the Jane & Finch area for the college newspaper. For a brief time before his MA program, Aaron was a reporter/photographer for Sun Media in western Ontario. While there, he covered local sports, politics, education and whatever else needed covering. Aaron was raised as a hunter and enjoys hiking, camping, photography and fiddling with social media tools.
